Eastwood Field was completed in 1999. This beautifully built stadium is located in Niles, Ohio half way between Cleveland & Pittsburgh. The new stadium was built in honor of the late Cafaro Company Founder, William Cafaro and is the home of  "The Mahoning Valley Scrappers"  an 'A' Class Cleveland Indians Baseball Affiliate.

The premier event venue and "The Mahoning Valley Scrappers" earned their initial success during the 1999-opening season and again in 2000.

The team made its way to the New York - Penn Minor League playoffs 2 years in a row, with spirit and support from the Mahoning Valley.

The excitement to the local area lead to the best attendance for a new minor league stadium and best attendance for a new minor league team.
